Pokemon Fan Creates Human Version of Ogerpon and All Its Mask Forms

[ad_1]

Highlights

  • Recent fan art showcases the humanoid designs of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Ogerpon and its different mask forms, accurately reflecting each mask’s elements.
  • The artist’s attention to detail, including the kimonos’ color schemes and the masks shaped after each mask form, has impressed fellow fans of the game.
  • This artist has previously created humanoid fan art for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starters and Pokemon party.

One creative fan recently created humanoid fan art featuring Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask DLC’s legendary pocket creature Ogerpon. The artist included all of Scarlet and Violet‘s Ogerpon mask forms in their humanoid fan art, giving each of their original characters distinct features that reflect each mask’s elements very well.

Even though there have been a lot of leaks about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet‘s Ogerpon, it was only a few weeks ago that the community was finally able to fully play through The Teal Mask. Fans got to learn more about the legendary Grass-type, and being able to get firsthand experience with the DLC likely served as inspiration for the more creative players out there. This may be why this particular artist was inspired to draw their take on what Ogerpon and its mask forms would look like if they were actual human beings, even if Ogerpon is already an actual humanoid Pokemon.

Showcasing their design concepts on Reddit, user FluorescenceFuture posted images of their humanoid fan art of Ogerpon and its different mask forms. Fans who have gone through the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC will likely be familiar with the legendary Pokemon and its four masks, which the artist represented very well in their artwork. FluorescenceFuture gave their Ogerpon a yellow-eyed female form and dressed them up in beautiful Japanese kimonos. Each of the kimonos’ color schemes reflected the specific elements for each mask, mostly green for The Teal Mask, blue for the Wellspring Mask, red for the Hearthflame Mask, and grey for the Cornerstone Mask.

Their Ogerpon characters also wore masks on their heads, each with the shape of the mask they were designed after. And, finally, FluorescenceFuture made them wield a bat, which is probably an homage to the ivy-wrapped cudgel that Ogerpon wields in battle. Overall, the designs are vibrant and accurate, and fellow Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans seem to be very impressed by the artist’s work and are full of compliments about their incredible attention to detail.

Pokemon fans may have seen this particular artist’s work online before. Some time ago, they posted some humanoid fan art for the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starters, and they recently made humanistic characters for the Pokemon party they use while playing through The Teal Mask. Hopefully when the second DLC comes, they will make more of these humanoid design concepts and share them with the rest of the community.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for Switch.
